Japanese dining: “ISE” New York

Japanese food is one of my favorites, I can never get enough of it. Unfortunately it is incredibly expensive in the US but that doesn’t stop me.

I was in New York last week for two days and grabbed lunch with a friend. This little japanese place on 49th street in between Lexington and 3rd Ave is real authentic and welcoming. This eel rice plus sashimi set was 17 dollars before tax and tip. Pricy but worth it for the amount and quality of food.

Healthy eating: Au Bon Pain

I had about half an hour before work today so I decided to go to Au Bon Pain for a quick dinner. I grabbed a small bowl of the special “turkey chili” and a large fruit cup.

I was so excited for the chili I burnt the top of my mouth a little bit but it’s way worth it. The fruits were heavenly.

I’m looking forward to being home in Hong Kong in a few weeks to indulge in large amounts of fruits that only exist in Asia.

Once in a blue moon: burgers

I’m currently on a film shoot in Vermont. My first film shoot, learning how to do sound and simply helping out. It’s a good deal for a free trip to Vermont. Yes, I have the travel bug disease.

This documentary is called Cow Power. It’s about turning cow poop into energy. Check out the page: http://Facebook.com/CowPowerDoc

This home made burger has beef patty, cheese, onions, lettuce and tomatoes. I very rarely eat burgers but it was real tasty last night.
