That one step

Be on the edge of the boat. Be ready to obey. Be ready to fail under God’s commands. Take that step out of the boat. Walk on water. Have faith: make decisions under God’s will, and not our own. Live by faith, not by sight.

Hillsong – Made me glad

You are my shield, my strength
My portion, deliverer
My shelter, strong tower
My very present help in time of need

Sometimes you have good days. You have bad days. And you have days that just goes up and down with all kinds of different feelings. I guess today was one of those days. Sigh. Only one person really know what i’m like during the bad times, and it feels good to have that one person. So I guess I’ll end with a good note. Beside God, that is. Who’s that one person for you?

  1. That’s a hard one.. my ONE person? Hm.. hehe, who’s yours? 🙂

Hehe, I admire your devotion to God.

Sigh, well I shall continue physics!
    Talk to you online!

    Love love,

  2. dude! we sang that song that you put the lyrics up to today too! first of all, i was late to church, so i was only there for 3 songs. and that was the first one that we sang, and i was like, humm…sounds familar, i think it’s the one that jo posted! life is weird!

  3. that happens wherever you go jo. in high school, in college, in the real world. you can choose to act “cool” and be in the “cool group” or you can choose to be yourself and ignore their “coolness” (or what i would call it “ignorance and stupidity”). and i think you have done the right thing to reach out to those new kids and make them feel at home! bro
